Processing: Steam distilled from hand-harvested leaves, stems and flowering buds from a 10-acre countryside family farm in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. The men, women, and children load the cut mint on to bullock wagon and take it to a local distillery. The peppermint is dried for about 6 hours. Then it is steam distilled and after the remaining plant material is dried and used to fuel the steam generators. The ashes are then mulched to enrich the soil.
